The Early Childhood Program is dedicated to educating the whole child. This approach to learning emphasizes four major developmental areas: language and communication skills, social and practical life skills, reasoning and thinking skills, and physical development. These areas are developed through hands-on activities centered in a literacy-based program. Literature is the springboard from which cognitive, language and verbal skills develop. Through play experiences, children begin to explore the dynamics of language and communication.
All Visitation students receive training in Classical Dance and Broadway-style Musical Theater, which includes acting, singing, and dancing. Physical Education, Art and French are part of the curriculum. There are indoor and outdoor play spaces for the students.
Visitation Academy provides a safe and positive environment for the girls. Small class size allows the faculty to meet the needs of each girl. Our challenging learning environment provides exceptional opportunities for the girls to grow and develop. We value respect for others and an appreciation of diversity in all things.
