Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to the start of a new school year!  As we begin anew, we are all filled with hope, devotion, and excitement for another wonderful year.

This past summer, through your fundraising efforts, we were able to enhance our school:

  • The Alumnae Room has been re-painted
  • The Alumnae Room floor has been sanded and polished -- special thanks to the highly professional effort of Mr. Steven Aronsen, father of Ava, grade 5
  • The electricity in the entire school building has been rewired.  We are working toward air conditioning in every classroom
  • The Kindergarten, Pre-Kindergarten, and Nursery classrooms were re-painted
  • New furniture was ordered for Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten
  • Fans were replaced in the dining hall
These were very costly endeavors, but, through your generosity and that of the benefactors of the school, I was able to accomplish this.  I pray this will be another enriching experience for all of us here at the Academy.

I challenge us to think together, work together, and, above all, worship together as we journey through this year.  The reflection of St. Francis de Sales, "Be who you are and be it well," is central to the educational philosophy of the academy -- a gentle encouragement for each of us to strive for our personal best.

Thank you to all of you who supported our endeavors.

With gratitude,

Mrs. Figaro
